Welcome to Elevation Restaurant at Cascade Culinary Institute! Offerings to the community vary by the academic term, as all meals are tied to classes.  We look forward to seeing you.

Spring 2024

Reservations open March 20 at noon!

With the sunny spring weather, Cascade Culinary Institute looks forward to having the following offerings:

Food Truck

  • The CUL 203 Food Truck Operations class will cook and serve a food truck patio lunch.
  • Students spend the first three weeks of class on business practices, food truck equipment, guest speakers, developing a concept, and practicing operations.
  • The Food Truck lunch will be open to the public, no reservations required, on the following Fridays: May 3, May 17, May 31, and June 7. Note: closed May 24 for student field trip.
  • Service times to be announced in late April, but generally run two hours.
  • Opening Spring 2024 Menu: Vietnamese Banh Mi, Vietnamese Rice Bowl (Tofu or Pork Belly), Vietnamese Coffee
  • Additionally, the food truck plans to be open for a Culinary Club and Automotive collaborative special event lunch on Saturday, June 1. Stay tuned to hear details in late April.

Fine Dining Lunch

  • The HM 190 Dining Room Operations and CUL 200 Kitchen Operations will serve a fine-dining, three-course lunch for a flat price of $20/person plus beverages.
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays, April 24-June 5, 2024.
  • Reservation times are between 11 am and noon

Fine Dining Dinner

  • The CUL 270 Capstone course will be serving a fine-dining dinner.
  • Monday and Tuesday evenings,* April 15–June 3, 2024.
  • Reservation times are between 5–6 pm.
  • This spring, the students have been preparing a special multi-course Asian Fusion tasting menu, where guests will be presented with a series of appetizers, entrees and a dessert for $48 per person plus beverages.

Bakery Kiosk

  • The Bakery Kiosk is not open for Spring 2024. It will be back in the fall!

*Note: Dinners, associated with the CUL 270 Capstone course, are planned for Monday and Tuesday evenings in the spring term this year, as many students have jobs in restaurants on Thursdays and Fridays with industry partners. Thank you for supporting this student-centered change.

General Information about Reservations:

  • Elevation Restaurant is moving to a new reservation system. Tock is the new vendor for reservations. Open Table is no longer being utilized.
  • Reservations for the spring fine-dining meals are scheduled to open Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at noon and filled quickly. An email announcement was sent to the Elevation guest email list on March 14, 2024.
  • As reservations to the community are of a limited quantity, CCI asks guests to only book one or two reservations per term and this will be monitored. Thank you for your support!
  • Tips fund student scholarships!
  • Reservation times are every 15 minutes, between the times discussed above.
  • Reservations for 2,3, or 4 are available.
  • Large party/banquet requests are not available in order to make as many reservations open to the public as possible. Elevation Restaurant has already established a limited number of large lunch events and banquets on certain lunch and dinner days, associated with COCC campus needs.
  • Reservations fill very quickly.
  • Elevation does not offer facility rentals or catering at this time.

  • All offerings, including the Elevation Shirley Ray Food Truck (spring), are located at Cascade Culinary Institute, 2555 NW Campus Village Way in Bend.

  • All tips go to the Cascade Culinary Institute student scholarship fund!
